Hey everybody! I hope you’ve all doing great! Just wanted to let you know what I’ve been up to lately. It’s now been just under two years since I moved to Kansas City to pursue my Master’s Degree at UMKC (University of Missouri-Kansas City) and I’ll be finishing that in just a few weeks! What a fun and amazing journey that has been, not just in school but also getting to be involved in the local music community here in KC.

Just last week I had a small “residency” at the Majestic, since I got to be the bass player in the house three days in a row with some of my favorite musicians in town, and then I played at the Wesport Coffeehouse with a band that was passing by from NY called Trample Man. This week I also got to play at The Ship with Electric Tinks, a band led by vibraphonist Peter Schlamb, and what a great time that was!

So yeah, things have been good here, and I’m already working on some of my plans for the near future. I can’t wait to let you know about them as things develop, but in the meantime, go ahead and check out my calendar and come hang at some the gigs I’ll be playing if you are in the area!
